Although I got bored very quickly with the “Stories,” I really enjoy creating my own characters and being able to play any household I want at any time in the Free Play mode.

Whether I’m creating my own electronic “voodoo dolls” hey, it’s a harmless way to take out your frustrations on the electronic form of the people who piss you off in real life , or just creating my version of the perfect – or imperfect – family, it’s a hoot! And if I get bored with one household, I can just move on to another. Yeah, I’ve killed countless hours with this one!

For example, it would be great to be able to design my own clothes, furniture, wallpaper, etc. I’d also like to be able to create my own hair, eye and skin colors, as well as my own hairstyles. Also, it would be great if my Sims could visit other Sims in their homes, or even just walk through the neighborhood. And what is a household without pets? And why is a household only limited to 4 people, regardless of how large the house is?

And how is it you can car pool, but no one actually has their own car? And why don’t I have more control over my Sim’s character traits and their ultimate career goal for example, when I create what I feel is a wonderful, nearly perfect person, and yet their ultimate goal is to be a criminal mastermind?

And why is it that people on the Criminal career path never actually land in jail? Shouldn’t there be consequences for bad choices, just as in real life? I’d also like to be able to build roads and expand the neighborhood into currently undeveloped areas, or create apartment complexes to house many Sims.

In short, there are many ways they could have made the game more like real life, while still allowing me to play different households. One person found this helpful. The only problem I’m having with this game is that, my lap top shut my game off while I was playing it. It said something made the program stop working. This game is new and has never been played, so I know there is nothing wrong with this game.

I’m not sure what’s going on if this game doesn’t play on windows 8 pc or if something is wrong with my lap top and I have to get it looked at. I gave this game 4 stars because I haven’t had the chance to play it long enough, and it’s not working with my lap top for some reason. I was at the part of making my own character then the program shut down.

I hope to found out what’s going on so I can play this game soon. That is the only thing that I dislike. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a eMac, Apple computer. You could try it out and if the program shuts off on you while your creating a character, your best bet is to go to office max or best buy and ask them. Despite being older and not the Sims 3, I really enjoyed this game. With all the details that I gathered beforehand, there wasn’t anything that I didn’t know about this game.

Just for those of you reading this who don’t do research on your games, I will tell you this much: Vince’s story must be unlocked. You have to play to at least chapter four of Riley’s story before you could play as Vince. I also read all of the info at the bottom of the page, and that told me a lot.

There’s nothing that I would have liked to know before purchase that I hadn’t already learned from the info. Not everyone reads up, though, so I suggest those who don’t do so.

I liked how it was possible to play in story mode or classic freestyle. The only thing was the lack of actions. When interacting with someone, I quickly ran out of different options for my actions. Otherwise, I think that this is an excellent game, and it’s a shame that they don’t make it anymore.

So i figured hey ill get this one it looks like sims 2 but i may install. I got it and it worked but it has a little less features like no expansion packs can be added there are a limited number of people per family only 4. And the gameplay for the story mode gets repeative and it says there are two storys but there is rileys story and vinnys story you need to unlock vincents story.

I love the Sims franchise so when I found out about this game, I had to buy it. It was so easy and nostalgic to install. Definitely worth the money in my book for Sims collectors!

I watched one of my favorite YouTubers play this and do a mini-series on it, and I just had to get it for myself! Loved the added cheat codes and the fact it came in the original case! However, I decided to try the game out anyways and ended up liking it better than the Sims Life Stories.
